E cores are suitable for power converters as well as for small-signal applications and EMI suppression purposes. Low-profile E cores (ELP) feature high power density and
low insertion height. Suitable for DC/DC and AC/DC converters with frequencies up to 1 MHz. Planar cores has become common in the power supply market for low-profile design. Planar cores can be directly integrated into the PCB.
